Make Valentine’s Day with Maker’s Mark cocktails

Go one step further than just dressing to impress this Valentine’s Day and show off your cocktail finesse with Maker’s Mark, the premium bourbon from Kentucky. This small batch, handcrafted bourbon whisky is world-renowned for its smooth flavour and iconic hand-dipped bottles in crimson wax; get some bourbon bliss sealed with a red wax kiss!

Maker’s Mark is perfect to sip on its own, chilled with ice, or as part of a refreshing cocktail; try a tantalising treat for your taste buds, and sip on these tempting recipes:

Maker’s Mark Kentucky Champagne

  • 25ml Maker’s Mark
  • 75ml Appletiser

For a delightful Deep South twist on the fizzy French classic, pour chilled Maker’s Mark into a champagne flute and top with chilled Appletiser.

Maker’s Mark Haymaker

  • 20ml Maker’s Mark
  • 30ml Bols Triple Sec
  • 20ml dry vermouth
  • 20ml lime juice

For a touch of zing, pour the ingredients over ice, shake well, and strain into a martini glass. Complete with a zesty zenith garnish of lemon or lime twist.

Maker’s Mark Bourbon Ball

  • 85ml Maker’s Mark
  • 30ml Cream
  • 15ml  Hazelnut Liqueur
  • 15ml  White Creme de Cacao

Spice up your night and have a Bourbon Ball! Just shake with ice and pour into a martini glass. Seal with a decadently delicious twist by topping with cream and garnishes of chocolate shavings.

Maker’s Mark Bourbon Daisy

  • 55ml Maker’s Mark
  • 30ml lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp grenadine syrup
  • 1/2 tsp superfine sugar
  • 1 slice orange
  • 1 maraschino cherry

If your date is more sweet than saucy, try the Bourbon Daisy! Pour all ingredients over ice, and simply shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
