We want people facing food poverty to have access to a healthy diet, enjoy life and at the end of the day, give their 100% towards their lives.
A bit about us
We are a registered charity based at Grange farm community centre in South Harrow that works for communities in Harrow, Dalston & Bushey.
Our work
We believe good food is power. It is what will empower communities, families, young people in times of crisis, low points and hard times. That is why we use surplus food as the centre of all our fun & motivational community activities.
We have distributed over 5 tonnes of food till now!
Arts & Gardening activities for ages 5-10
We host playful arts, crafts and gardening activities for young children on the weekends.
Monthly talks & events
We host several community events for individuals, families and young children!
Well-being Tester Activities
We partner with Harrow Women’s centre where practitioners give free taster activities for the whole community throughout the week – e.g. mindfulness, healing sound baths and yoga. You should join us for a recreational experience!
Hot Meals
We partner with a food program non-profit called Akshay Patra. They sponsor amazing food for young people and several families in Grange farm community. You can find us distributing hot meals every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Street Dance
Our partner, Inspiral Dance, sponsored by Public Health team at Harrow Council gives engaging onsite dance classes to young kids every Monday!
Coffee Mornings
We host coffee and cake mornings throughout the week. We meet, eat & talk to start our days with a good morning.
Food Bank
City harvest, sponsored by Public Health Team at Harrow Council helps us to distribute surplus food supplies in the community from Monday to Friday. Their food is also used in all our community building activities!
